How to Use an Industrial Borescope for Casting Inspection
Precision castings, die-cast components, cast steel parts, and cast iron components often contain complex internal structures, enclosed cavities, narrow passages, and irregular channels.
After casting, many of these internal areas cannot be inspected directly with the naked eye. Traditional destructive inspection methods, such as cutting a component open, can provide valuable information but may damage the finished part and are generally more suitable for sampling, failure analysis, or process verification rather than routine inspection of every component.
