0.85mm Ultra-thin Probe: Breaking Through the "Last Boundary" of Industrial Inspection

In the fields of industrial manufacturing and equipment operation and maintenance, there are always some inspection scenarios that leave people helpless: narrow casting channels, fine cooling pipelines, and tiny gaps inside precision aircraft—traditional inspection equipment either cannot get in, cannot see clearly, or requires destructive disassembly to complete the inspection.

0.85mm ultra-thin probe

The Huashi G10 Series Industrial Video Endoscope was born precisely to solve such "extremely small space inspection problems." Its core breakthrough lies in the fact that the probe diameter can be as thin as 0.85mm—a size that allows endoscopic inspection to truly reach the industrial "micro-world" that was previously difficult to access.

What does 0.85mm mean?

The steel ball at the tip of an ordinary ballpoint pen has a diameter of about 0.5–1.0mm. The G10's 0.85mm probe is almost equivalent to a pen tip. This means it can easily enter:

Fine channels of precision castings: Sand holes and cracks inside castings can be inspected without destructive testing;

Hydraulic and fuel pipelines: Inner wall corrosion, blockages, and weld quality can be seen at a glance;

Precision components of aircraft engines: Inspection can be carried out through tiny borescope ports without disassembling the engine;

Assembly gaps of precision machinery: Gear meshing surfaces and bearing raceways—minor wear can be clearly observed.

Ultra-thin, but not "weak-sighted"

Does the imaging capability decline when the probe becomes thinner? The Huashi G10 gives the answer with hard specifications.

The device is equipped with a 1-megapixel CCD camera, which improves clarity by 30% compared with ordinary megapixel cameras. Combined with a high-definition screen with 1024×768 resolution and 500cd/㎡ brightness, even images captured by the 0.85mm probe can clearly present details on the handheld terminal.

More importantly, there is illumination. Light is extremely difficult to transmit in tiny spaces. The Huashi G10 adopts a rear high-power LED light source and transmits light through optical fibers, with illumination output reaching 100,000 Lux. Deep inside dark pipelines, it can still capture images with diagnostic value.

One machine for multiple uses, thin or thick as needed

0.85mm is not all the G10 has to offer. The G10 series adopts a modular design, and the probe can be quickly replaced on site. One main unit can be adapted to probes with various diameter specifications from 0.85mm to 8.3mm. From extremely narrow precision components to relatively open container inner walls, the same device can handle them all. The insertion tube length is also flexibly selectable, covering different depth requirements from 0.5m to 20m (thinner diameters depend on specific conditions), balancing routine inspections and deep exploration.

Portable and durable, born for on-site work

The G10 adopts an integrated portable design and weighs only 1.0kg including the battery. It comes standard with 32GB storage, allowing photos and videos to be taken and archived at any time during inspection; HDMI high-definition output supports synchronized display, facilitating multi-person collaborative judgment. A single dedicated lithium battery provides more than 4 hours of endurance and supports USB/Type-C charging, meeting the needs of a full day of on-site work.

Applicable scenarios

The G10 series is widely used for visual inspection in fields such as aerospace, automobile manufacturing, petrochemicals, machinery manufacturing, and energy and power. Whether it is internal inspection of automobile cylinder blocks and cylinder heads, hidden hazard investigation of wind power gearboxes, or quality assessment of oil pipeline welds, this device can clearly present internal conditions to inspectors without disassembly or destruction.
